WHAT'S IN YOUR PURSE OR WALLET AND OTHER REASONS TO CHAT.

You know them. They come in all shapes, sizes and colors.

If your DH is like my DH, he can't understand why you need several purses. He doesn't understand why they weigh so much or why you need everything that you carry inside of them. Of course, I don't understand how they can survive with a puny little wallet. How does someone carry everything in a wallet?

Let's face it a girl has her essentials, right? I must have my car keys, my wallet, my makeup, my phone, my address book (cell phone listings are hard to read in the sun), my breath mints, my perfume, my tissues.......

So what's in your purse?

I'm not a very girly girl, lol. I carry a backpack-type purse. It's the only one I have. Probably somewhere in my closet is a "dress" purse but I don't use it. Inside my backpack is my wallet, checkbook, cell phone and contact lense solution. That's it. I put on my makeup at home, once, in the morning and then I usually just reapply lipgloss which is in my car.

I have pens and pencils, money, cell, planner and usually a book.

Mine always has my planner, cell phone, pens, usually a book, and all my cards (Drivers license, Bank Card, Insurance Card etc.) Oh and I also have pictures.

This is so cool.... I love seeing how much we need those beautiful,colorful bags. They are so stylish and useful. I forgot about pens and pencils.

In my purse: I have two full size bottles of lotion, a wallet with 48 receipts from a year ago stuffed in it and no cash, a box of Everlasting Gobstoppers, a box of Nerds, a handful of sugar free Crystal Light Hard Candy (to balance out all of the sugar from the gobstoppers and nerds ), a disposable camera (not sure why), a bunch of makeup, gum, 3 tubes of chapstick, a pair of sunglasses, 4 pens, my checkbook, my old cell phone, and the Nick Lachey CD case (the CD is in my car, I just like to have something good to look at when I'm bored). My purse is full of necessities!

My wonderful husband is really understanding about the purses, though. He bought me a beautiful Coach bag for my birthday. What a guy. And I'm a little embarrassed at how much it cost, so I told him if anyone asks it's a fake.

Yeah, he's a keeper.

It's all give & take, though. I get a way too expesive bag & he gets to go golfing without me nagging. I guess I'm just lucky he's figured out the system.

Tylenol, ibuprofen, benadryl, an umbrella, datebook, calculator, checkbook, ID, one credit card only for emergencies, NO cash (I just never have any), insurance cards, video club, hallmark club, bookstore club cards, little one's shot record, pics of the kids, LOTS of receipts, a book (always), cell phone and keys.

Unless I am going to drive I don't carry a purse but on the rare occasion I do carry one. I have my wallet with driver's license credit cards and checkbook a pen. Old reciepts (unless I have cleaned it out recently ) a swiss army knife (I am always prepared.) a packet of BC powders, a pack of winston lights and a zippo.
