I have this bag but in last years style so it's not very big but I can manage to fit what I need.

In it I carry...

iPhone
Annual Pass/Park Tickets
Credit/Gift Cards
Cash (not much)
Advil
Autograph book (the small blue one)
Pen
Park Maps
On the strap I place my camera case which has the camera, extra batteries and media cards
A few bandaid's

I think that is it... I used to carry a huge bag but it was just too much to lug around! I love my waist bag!

They have a list on their website of where you can buy them retail. My first sherpani bag I got at REI and I fell in love!

THOSE BAGS ARE AWESOME! I want one of each! I'm going to REI asap to see if I can find your bag... and if not I am ordering it. I like the idea that I can do it as a hipster or across body, depending on how I feel that day.

I carry a small day pack with our AP's and FPs in a little wallet, my CC, ID, a little cash, advil, a couple bandaids, a small bottle of water, my phone and the camera. Anything else we might want for the day goes in a locker or someone else carries them. When the kids were littler I also carried some candy and granola bars for in line. That and phone games kept them busy in line when they got bored. But usually there is so much to look at/for or friendly people to talk to that they didn't need the phone. Food was always good though! Heck, it still is, but they have to carry it! And they usually play peek a boo with little ones to pass the time in line.

I used to carry a fanny pack but am going to go with a wristlet this year since my youngest is in a stroller and we can load bigger things into that.

In my wristlet I will carry

current pictures of the kids
hotel room keys

I feel like I'm forgetting something but thats a pretty basic run down

Besides what everyone else said,

I am bringing a plastic sack to put my bag in for wet rides.

some wet naps for sticky fingers after my 5 year old has ice cream or something.

I am trying to think of something for her to do while waiting in long lines, any ideas?

We played I Spy with our 6 year old when we were in line..bonus no supplies to carry for this game. There is so much to see at DL this game never gets old there. Our son got most excited when I spy led him to a hidden mickey so for our next trip we are getting him the hidden mickey book to check out in lines too.

I have a Disney small backpack that I carry. I'm one of those that has to have anything I might need. I can't stand to have wet feet, so if we're going to do Splash or GRR I have a pair of flip flops to change into. Ponchos if there's a chance of rain (we usually go in March, so this is a frequent occurance). Phone, camera, wallet, benedryl gel for DH because he has a reaction to different kinds of wood, plastic baggies for cell & camera when on water rides, advil, nail clippers, nail file, lip gloss and pen. I wear my favorite pins on my lanyard which holds my PH and FPs. All other pins are displayed on the bag.

For the anti-fannypack folks, I saw cute little backpacks with Tinkerbell on them at walmart for $14. They also had a nice assortment of purses and wallets with Disney themes.

I've got a small black leather back pack and a black neck lanyard (no pins) with a black leather luggage tag that I use.

In the luggage tag:

annual passes
debit card
fast passes
parking stub
coffee refill receipt

In the back pack:

MOST IMPORTANT: A medical permission to treat note for my niece signed by her parents (And In her pocket a note that indicates that she and I are annual pass holders that includes a list of ER phone #'s)

Jackets or rain ponchos, peanut butter pretzels, and dried mango go in the $7 locker.

How did you get a Swiss Army knife inside Disneyland?! They didn't see it when you went through security?

What an awesome idea! I usually pack a Moleskine journal in my luggage to make trip notes when I'm in the hotel, but it never occurred to me to pack one in my in-the-park bag too!

It's a tiny one that I use for food....I can't bite in to whole pieces of fruit or food well so I use it cutting fruit into pieces, caramel apples or a sandwich into bites. Trimmed a tag off of my blouse one time that was rubbing my neck raw.

Thinking about it...I've carried it and used it for years to cut food when I've had to. I've never really never thought twice about it, it's so small and it never ocured to me as not being allowed. Guess I'll have to leave it at home from now on.

LOL!

I was shopping with my 10 year old son this weekend and I found some "waist packs." I showed them to him and he was like "no, mom."

Then I said it would be for Disney and he said, "Well I MIGHT wear one to Disney." But I definitely think it is only if i MAKE HIM.

Lucky for me I found a wonderful little cross-body bag in my closet yesterday, and it has a perfect strap for displaying pins..... which solves my "no lanyard" problem, too!

My husband will actually use a small flat black fanny pack under his tshirt to hold just his wallet and keys. It is too easy to have your wallet fall out of you pocket getting on and off rides. I use a small crossbody bag (zoom by Sherpani) to hold a small wallet, tickets, and fastpasses...a different pocket for each. It doesn't leave my body. Then we have one backpack for the family with the water bottles, snacks, sunscreen, etc. that we take turns carrying. I like the security of having everything important on my body...backpacks are too easy to put down and forget (I did that at Disneyland once...thankfully it was there when I realized it a minute later).
