What's in YOUR Disney bag?

I am so impressed with what everyone can fit in a fanny pack! Mine must be a small version or I have yet to figure out how to use it to its full potential.

I myself have a black fanny pack that I bought at WDW in 1998 with a black Mickey silhoette (ooh that doesn't look right) on it. I really want to carry it again and make DH carry my pink backpack ( :rotfl: ) which he did the whole time at the zoo. But I also wouldn't mind us both having one of those bigger fanny packs. Decisions Decisions.

I'll tell you what I had for the zoo since that was the last trip we made with DD (3) too.

Potty Seat (but now I have a fold up potty seat) (my DD has a *thang* about sitting on big potty seats)
Wipes
change of clothes for DD
extra shirt for me and DH
two one liter bottles of water
a plethora of snacks
epi pens and zyrtec
baggies

gosh, i think that's about it

however when we are out and about in the parks I probably won't pack an extra shirt for me and dh nor will i pack the same amount of snacks although i will be packing some for DD

i would like to use my fanny pack for the essentials like room keys, cash, chapstick, shades.....

i am trying to figure out a way to carry what i need without carrying to much stuff, i notoriously overpack

love this thread!!!! all the lists are helping me tremendously

Only two things on my list:

glo sticks/those night "twirly" things (I purchase before we go!)

Where do you purchase these? I live near Indianapolis, so I have several chain stores nearby. TIA!

I live in MA and purchase them at Ocean State Job Lot. They are very inexpensive there and even they even carry glow rings and glow dangly earrings that my DD& loves. It is a bargain-type store, if that helps at all. If you cannot find them in any local store, I know you can purchase all types of glow merchandise at Oriental Trading (dot com) - it does have to be purchased in bulk by them however. Good luck in your quest.

This is what I usually carry when going to the parks:

A tiny bottle of Sunscreen that I refill every morning

Ziploc bags

A small, thin, foldable seat cushion – takes up less space than a poncho and only fractionally more space than a garbage bag. They are actually meant for garden use, are very sturdy, waterproof and isolated and yet small enough to easily fit in my fanny pack. We have been taking them for a couple of years now. Besides being softer to sit on, the main advantage is that they are isolated, preventing discomfort from the heat of the sidewalk. :sunny:

A very small notebook and pen

A miniature first aid kit (band aids, disinfection vipes, moleskin, aspirin)

Asthma medicine/ antihistamine

Room key

AP

A small amount of cash and a couple of TC’s

A super small foldable umbrella

Digital Camera in a small bag, suspended from my Pin lanyard.

Miniature fan

Sunglasses

Except for the camera bag everything fit in my small fanny pack leaving my hands free which is very nice
