Hello! We leave in two weeks on the Disney Dream. What toiletries and other things are included in the staterooms? Is this the same for a Disney resort? (Our pre and post cruise stay)

Thank you in advance!

Unless you need special products you could easily board with deodorant, toothbrush and paste, clothes, phone and charger and you'd be good to go. Maybe a scrunchie if you have long hair.

Hi - are the toiletries any good please? I usually find hotel shampoo and conditioner a bit thin/weird feeling in my hair afterwards
I love the H2O products. Well, maybe not the shampoo as much. If we're on a long trip, I bring my own shampoo, but if it's a cruise that I'll probably only wash my hair once or twice, the H2O stuff works. I totally love the conditioner and lotion. The soaps are good, too.

Elemis - not so much. I've used it on Holland America, and the shampoo/conditioner are extremely drying to my hair. The lotion seems sticky and heavy on my skin.

Some people love them, some don't.

There are other shampoos and conditioners and more amenities (razors, q-tips, lotion, etc) in the shower rooms of the spa. These showers are open to all adults......free to use.

Thanks that's a great tip!

I believe the product in the showers there is Elemis.

In my experience the deluxe resorts provide higher quality products. Value and moderate resorts don't have conditioner either.

The hair products on board are the Sea Marine line, and I think they're great. What not great on any of the ships are the hair dryers, so you may want to bring your own.

Really? Ugh.

I like them. My hair is picky and my nose is sensitive. (I actually do not use the body wash b/c I thin it smells odd) Others do not like them.

YEp.

I have thick curly (used to be long) hair and the dryers on Dream have been just fine. If I'm recalling correctly you need to use them in the stateroom part of the room, not the bathroom. There's a special plug at the vanity for the dryer, and that's what gives it the power it needs. If I'm not mixing it up with Royal, that is. :)

Or you could always go to the spa shower area. :)

On the Wonder, they had the old school hair dryers attached to the wall still in the bathroom. However, there was also a new, good quality hair dryer in the desk drawer.

Maybe I am just used to mine, but I did not think the dryers (even the newer ones) were very good.
