What's in the Los Angeles Entertainment Book?

I usually buy an Entertainment Book for our vacation destination.

I'm wondering if it'll be worth it to buy the LA Ent. Bk.

I've already got my Disney tickets, and hotel ~ and I can rent my rental car with the coupons from the Entertainment Book I already have, for my hometown.

So, I guess my question is: Are there any good Restaurant coupons, or attraction coupons (Knott's?) in there??
Thanks!

I bought an Entertainment book for L.A. before a 5-day trip there this past July. It was half-price because I purchased it so late in the year, and I'm glad I didn't pay a lot for it because I didn't use it AT ALL. Of course, it may be different for you... all I can recommend is to check it out at www.entertainment.com; you can see a list of dining, shopping, and attractions coupons in the book there.

Good luck!

If you're staying near DL, the book you would be interested in is the Orange County book.

Okay, just glanced at my book. Not too much in regards to places to eat near DL. The only thing I can spot are a couple of coupons for El Pollo Loco. There are McDonalds coupons but they're not good for the one on Harbor. The Anahiem restaurants listed to use with the card aren't in the immediate area.

There is a coupon for ESPN: purchase any game card in the sport arena for any amount and ESPN Zone will double your points for free. You can also purchase, in advance, AMC theater tickets. They won't be good for any new releases (anything that has only been playing two weeks or less).

Unless you're going to go to other area attractions like Knotts Berry Farm/Soak City, Universal, Medieval Times, Legoland, Six Flags Magic Mountain, etc., it probably won't be worth buying. There are a number of motels in the area you could use your Entertainment discount on but if you already have an Entertainment book for your area, you won't need to buy this one to use the hotel discounts.

If you want me to check for any place specific, just post again and I take a look at my OC book again.

Hi and THANKS for checking your book for me!

We are going to Knotts for one day. Are there any for tickets/admission? Thanks for your help.

Yes, there are two Knotts coupons, both the same. Adult tickets for $31.95 and child's are $15.95; good for up to six tickets per coupon.

There also are coupons for Soak City (Knott's water park) which is right across the street from Knotts. $21.95 per adult, $15.95 per child, also up to six per coupon. There are also two coupons for Soak City.

Both the Knotts and the Soak City tickets are good until 11/31/06. The rest of the book expires 11/1/06.

THANKS FOR CHECKING!!!

But, well, now I still don't know if it would be worth it to buy the Entertainment Book.

The Knott's website offers print-at-home tickets for $35.00 adult/ $14.95 children.

For only 2 adults & 2 kids, the few dollars saved on admission would be eaten up buying the Ent. Bk.

I'll have to think about this...
