What's happening with Star Tours?

I just read it's being closed until may of next year.

It's my 4 year old favorite attraction

Updating the ride. Now it'll take place between the prequals and original movies.

Yep, it closes July 26th and is expected to reopen in May 2011.

I heard from a CM that it's going to be 3-D.

I love ST but I'm glad they're going to rehab it. I was getting tired of seeing the same thing over and over again. Can't wait to see it when it's finished.

Looks like I better take some more pix of ST before it closes.

I don't know... I LOVED the original Star Tours, I just don't like the idea of doing something with the prequels (As much as I liked them, it wasn't as fun as the originals. )

Oh well, I hope they do some good things to it.

This weekend's his last chance to ride the original version. I think people are trying to get in a few last rides because there was a line outside the building last time I checked. For months, it's been a straight walk to the loading area.
