Well, my friend and I cancelled our Raglan Road lunch ressie for Nov 22 and decided to splurge and try Fulton's, and I was wondering, what you all would recommend to order for lunch? It all looks yummy, and can't wait to try it!

Secondly. what are the Portobello Mushroom Fries like? I love mushrooms, and they sound interesting, can anyone describe them?

Also, looks like there is no dessert menu there, do they offer dessert at all, or just for kids?

Thanks so much!

Jules

I was at Fultons last month for dinner. They have fresh fish flown in the same day that it has been caught. What is on the menu can change from day to day, but there should be maybe 5 choices on this part of the menu.

I tried the fresh Alaskan Halibut with mushrooms. To be perfectly honest, I was wondering what mushrooms were doing being paired with the Halibut, but I decided that I didn't have to eat them.

The chef sure knew what he was doing. It was a perfect pairing. The mushrooms had been sauteed in a fish broth and not only were they tasty, they really complemented the Halibut.

There were other selections on the menu as well such as steaks, but I really wanted to see how good the fish was. It didn't disappoint.

There is also a dessert menu with a number of good choices. I went with the milk chocolate creme brulee with berries and it was excellent. There was a sugar topping that had been carmelized, giving it a nice crunch. Mmmm.

I would suggest that you try out the seafood that has been flown in. It's nice and fresh and prepared very well.

I love Fulton's especially for lunch, because I think it is a better value. I usally get: Fulton's Cobb Salad - A mixture of Florida baby shrimp, blue lump crab, bay scallops, tomatoes, cucumbers, avocado, and boiled eggs, drizzled with a basil citrus vinaigrette.....It is sooo good and fresh, and lots of seafood!

We ate at Fulton's last week and it was the best meal for the entire trip. Not sure if it is on the lunch menu (we had dinner), but the Alaskan King Crab claws are terrific. And, they are pre-cracked for you!

If you go lunchtime but want something from the dinner menu can you order for the dinner menu?
Thanks

The Hook and Sinker is great for Lunch. You get to choose half a sandwich with soup or salad. I've had the Blue Lump Crab Club and Crab and Lobster Bisque. OMG, SOOOOOO GOOD!!!! I agree that the Cobb Salad is also great and the Lobster and Shrimp Roll - its a sandwich with poached Maine lobster and shrimp ;)
