Hi there! We are trying Akershus for the 1st time for dinner. My dh is a very picky eater and was wondering what everyone has had for dinner and did you like it or not. My kids will order off the kids menu b/c they follow in their father's footsteps!

Thanks,
Lorraine

Im not sure if the lunch menu and the dinner menu is the same, or at all similar. We went for lunch and I had the open faced salmon sandwich, with a cup of seafood showder. It was VERY good.

We went for dinner in November 06, and we did not like any of what we had. DH had a poached fish dish, and I had some sort of chicken dish. Both had very little flavor, very bland. DS had pizza from the kid's menu, and it was a flat bread type pizza, with whole tomatoes and chicken. He did not like it at all. I should add that as a general rule, we are NOT picky eaters. On the up side, our waitress spilled not one, but TWO glasses of apple juice on me, so dinner was free. We then went to Sunshine Seasons and ate edible food....

We made the mistake of having dinner here on our very first trip to WDW. We did not have many TS meals and were going to splurge on this one because of the good reviews I had "read" in one of the travel books.

Hated the food, felt my money was wasted.

Now, we have returned on several occasions, but only for their breakfast.

Oh my goodness! I'm getting a little worried about the food there. I think the lunch menu is different as I didn't see that sandwich on the dinner menu. Did anyone have anything they LIKED for dinner?

The menu has changed on allears.net.
I had the Kjottkake for lunch in the past. It is also on the dinner menu. I didn't care for it but many others like it. My husband had the pasta with chicken that I no longer see on the menu and enjoyed it. The desserts were great and with the cold board I was fine.
We are going in 2 weeks for dinner. I am planning on trying the Grilled Veg. Stuffed Pasta. It sounds great!

I hate to say it, but NOTHING! We went two years ago and in our party of 9 not a single one of us enjoyed our food.

A few of us had the salmon and I think some of us had some type of meatloaf. It looks like they have since changed the menu, so maybe (hopefully) it was for the better!
