What's going on with Otto/info line (7/22 am)?

I'm preparing for our early August trip and am trying to get a sense of the Radiator Springs Racers FP return times, especially the time when they run out. I've been calling the OTTO/phone info line in the mornings over the past few days. When I am calling this morning, I keep getting a busy signal. Anybody currently in the parks know what's going on?

Out of curiosity, I just tried calling and also got a busy signal. I'm not in the parks, but I'm wondering if they are just having some technical difficulties. Hopefully it's nothing serious.

People have been reporting busy signals and long hold times trying to call for MHP tickets, probably the whole Disney system is overwhelmed.

i used it constantly from July 17-21 and had no issues getting through. That must be so frustrating for those in the parks. Otto was invaluable to us.

Seems to be working fine today. Hope there was just a temporary glitch in the system, because I'm planning to heavily rely on it once we're there (I don't have a smart phone, so Otto will probably be kind of our lifeline...).

As others have said, it was most likely due to a lot of folks calling in to purchase MHP tickets on Wednesday (happens every year on the first day tickets go on sale because DVC and Disney Visa folks have to call in to order tickets). Next Wednesday, when MHP tickets go on sale to the General Public, might be another day when Otto (and all DLR phone lines) have some problems.
