What's going on with Nick and Judy?

Nick seems always available on the app. But Judy is not there last 3 days. Also heard that meeting Judy is more miss than hit. Does anybody know if she stops meeting people or is it just temporary.

We finally got to meet Judy on Saturday 10/21. It was very frustrating when we tried in Thursday. We just missed them the first try. They were no shows the next, & the last Nick just came out for a minute to say hi, but no photo oops. You had to catch him on the run. I was told by the CM that it's safest to try early in the day. We were there around 3 pm.

I just looked back at my photopass pictures. My friend and I met Nick and Judy together on September 17 (a Saturday) at 1:36pm.

We tried to see Judy two weeks ago when we were there. On Wed, the app had 4 or 5 times listed for her. We got there a bit early and stood in line to wait, but it ended up being just Nick. And the cast member said Judy wouldn't be out at all.

We tried again on Friday, and while the app listed several times when I looked at it before opening, by mid morning all of the times were gone except for one that we couldn't make in the late afternoon.

My friend had the park app and sometimes it would show Judy on it aswell including times.
But when she checked again after a while to make sure we could still make her meet, her name was taken off the app and only showed Nick.

We saw them together in the morning, but the line had already closed.
We asked CM's if Judy'd be there all day, but they gave us a story why she couldn't be and possibly wouldn't be, and that we shouldn't get our hopes up.

I'd love to see more reports of when Judy is out. We're going in a couple weeks and would like to know the best time to look for her.

It lists her on the app as being out every set with Nick today. And based on what I've been reading lately, that doesn't sound like it will be the case.

I would really love to understand what the issue is with these two characters. Disney has character meets down pat, but for some reason can't get or keep the schedules of these two particular characters. It makes no sense to me. I also don't understand why, if they do show up, they can't sign autographs.

Yeah, I also thought that was very weird. For some reason they cannot give autographs.

Your reports worry me. I try to catch them first set on the day I arrive. Hope I have luck. Characters are more important then rides, for me at least

We saw both together last Wednesday the 16th right after rope drop. Although it wouldn't surprise me to see them cut to make budget for Moana.

I'll warn you just like I warn everyone: characters take off at the most unexpected times. We went to see Nick and Judy 2 weeks ago. The app said they'd be there from 2:30-3pm. They didn't show up until 2:40. And then at about 2:50, the CM helping them pretended to get a call about some "bad guy" that Nick and Judy needed to catch so they had to leave quickly. We did get to catch them, but they were out there less than 15 minutes. I really don't get the whole union-like hours these characters get. It's seems way too frequent that a character comes out for 15 minutes and then they're history. I experienced that with Minnie and with Donald this trip. Instead of being out for the half hour promised on the app, it was much less which created more line time. I just don't get it.
