What's going on the end of Mar?

I'm trying to book a hotel for the end of March (29 - April 2nd) and hardly anything is available. Maybe it's not a good time for us to go? Anyone know if there's a convention in town?

Well that's Spring break for A LOT of people, which is a VERY busy time to go to DL. But it may also be that a lot of the rooms haven't been released yet maybe.

That's right in the middle of Spring Break season. NOT a good time to go. I've been there.....done that.....never again.

Last week of April or the first week of May would be a better time to visit.

FWIW, I have never been during Spring Break but I seem to remember there are cheerleader conventions at that time and the hotels are booked in mass. Also, it goes without saying that there are lots of screamy teen girls at DLR during such conventions.

You know...I actually went one year during the cheer convention and I don't remember it being during spring break...but it was years ago...yet HARD to forget...that was SOME trip!!!

If you go a week after the spring break you should be good. That's what i did this year and i walked on to ALOT of rides!

Don't know about end of March, but there is a big cheer convention the 22-25 of February at the convention center.
