Just booked 2 Rooms at the GCH June 5,6,7,8,10 SoldOut Monday 6/9. So was DLH,PP,CC Inn,Hilton etc. Found the Fairfield Inn across the street for the 9th. Everything was open again on Tuesday
not complaining. Lucky to get something short notice but just weird that one day was sold out.

oh great another thing for me to panic about  we will be there , thats our last day at DL hope it is not hellish!

I wouldn't panic just yet. It might be one of those fluke things, as we get closer there are bound to be days here and there that they don't have a lot of rooms for. Maybe on those days they've got a lot of rooms out of expedia, hotels.com ect...?

We normally always go that week, and it's never been super bad.

We'll be there June 8-13. We will be staying at the DLH but I booked back in Feb. This will be our first trip to DLR. Hope the crowds are manageable.

Thanks for the replies. Just glad to have a place to stay.pirate: It just seems like a PIT you know what to check out and check back in for one day. May just have to cancel that last day at GCH or hope something opens up last minute. Just went back on expedia(and direct websites) to check and more of the "across the street hotels" that showed no avail yesterday now show something available.

We're at GCH 6/6-6/11 (5 nights) and I booked our two rooms in March. I have noticed now in Expedia that both Mon and Tue are not showing availability. Not sure if this is because of a convention or some DLH towers being closed and their guests moved to GCH?

I think it is just the start of the busy season. We are booked at the Disneyland Hotel June 15-18---but just barely got those rooms. I made the reservations in April, so it was not late. At first they were showing "sold out" at the DLH at this time, but when I went back in a few times online I found some reservations available for upper tower/view rooms and grabbed them.

I know that the start of their high season (open till 12 each night) begins right around then. It is also the opening of the Toy Story ride the weekend of June 15th.

When I was booking my trip using DVC in Dec. I was unable to get DLH June 10th. So I had to book GC for one day then back to DLH. Since it was our first trip we actually will be doing DLH (2 nights), GC (1 night) then PP (2 nights). When I called Disney a couple months ago to ask what was going on they said nothing that they are aware of. But from someone else, a non-member of Disney they said that they thougt it was the press showing for Toy Story. I am thinking if the crowd is there for Toy Story than that keeps the crowd over at CA.

Low and behold call this morning and we got the rooms on the 9th and will not have to check out and back in. Thanks to the concierge and guest services.:worship:
