What's going on Dec 1-5?

Am hoping there will be a 2 BR Kidani for Dec4-9 when I call. If not will just WL and hope for some pixie dust. Am glad to hear that is what has been available lately.

Any indication if the 2nd week of December is even slightly less crowded than the first?

Currently booked in a 2 bedroom and a studio at OKW (home resort). That's fine -- if we end up at OKW, we'll have a fantastic time. But...we were hoping to move to either BWV or BCV (2 bedroom + studio) Dec 10-17.

I'm getting skeptical those are going to be available. We plan on calling right on the morning of May 10. Anyone have a history with that week? Will the 2nd week of December be as bad as the first? I'm of course most worried about the night of Dec. 10th, as people who get to book week long trips on May 3 and 4 will likely book up the rooms through Dec 10.

Legitimate fear, or is there something unique about that first week of December that doesn't apply to the second?

The other slight issue is that Pop Warner teams are at Disney that first week of December. I doubt it impacts DVC as much as it does the parks though.

Yes. They left around the 11th this year. Our first day was their last this year. We went to the MK to get our APs and then tried to do a few things in the park. Toon Town Fair was a wreck. Tea cups were a 30 minute wait. It was much nicer day 2 on.
