As stated elsewhere, this is like a divorce. The people involved know all the issues, or their own interpretations of the issues, but it's not necessarily a good thing for everyone else to know. As much as we may feel we are a part of this board, and deserve or want to know, it's really nobody's business. (Make no mistake...I'm curious as hell too.) But I think we need to all respect the fact that there are lawyers involved, and that it would not be in any party's best interest to be making statements about the issues on a public discussion board.
I think the bigger issue, for me anyway, is watching relationships fall apart here. I've been here for over 4 years (I registered as "Mare" in August '99), and I've seen many relationships form and many fall apart. I think, even beyond my curiosity, is sadness at watching it all play out yet again. Meanwhile, I'm well aware of the fact that I know NOTHING about what has happened behind the scenes that led to this latest disintegration of relationships, and in effect, the boards, so I'm not about to take a side. I just hope things work out in the end for those involved, altho I have my doubts about the DIS itself.
