Whats fun to do/eat at the Boardwalk?

Another nod to ESPN ... great food and atmosphere. The show 'College Game Day' was live in the bar while were there. My DH and BIL were loving it! Another fun stop is across at BC - Beaches and Cream is excellent. Great burgers and shakes. Any place where you can sit outside at night is fun.

Spoodles is one of my favorite places to eat in Orlando!

We have ressies @ Cape May on the Boardwalk in September while we're staying at POP. I plan to shop & people watch after dinner. Seems to be alot to do in that area & we've never been there. usually stick to DTD, but wanted to do something different this stay. :cool1:

Elynn,
Cape May Cafe is at the Beach Club, across Crescent Lake from the BW. You can walk to BW from there or take a long boat ride.

Thanks for the info - we had a map of the area from 2 years ago & just figured all that area was considered the "Boardwalk" sorta like the DTD area. We just wanted to eat somewhere different for our anniversary, so we'll just make sure we take the right bus from the DTD transport area. Appreciate the info..........:thanks:

Elynn,

Make sure you let everybody know you're celebrating your anniversary while there. I suprised my wife with a 3-day quick trip for our 25th anniversary.

The Boardwalk left gifts in our room several times; an autographed 8x10 Mickey photo with balloons and a certificate; later that night there was a plate with truffles and a huge Milk and white chocolate bar with a boardwalk photo on it. We still have it wrapped in original plastic it came in.

At dinner at Portobello's a chocolate moose cake was brought out with "Happy 25th" on it.

It was a very nice 3 day escape to our favorite place.

For those that may not know - JellyRolls only admits adults - you must be at least 21 years old to enter (they check ID and do not make exceptions).

There is a cover charge - last time we were there it was $7/person, but I think it has since gone up.

Also, smoking is allowed. At times it gets very stinky in there!

But it can be a very fun time!
