I apologize if this has already gone around but I have been out of town and off the boards for a week

So I need to go to the grocery for dinner fixins for tomorrow. What is everyone having? Anyone doing something different with their ham/lamb? Any ideas welcome!

There's a thread around somewhere, or multiple threads!

I am making Prime Rib Roast, Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Asparagus and Popovers. I need a desert, something easy preferrably that I can make today or in the morning. I actually will probably just end up buying something. Can't haul this 9 month pregnant body around the kitchen too much tomorrow!!! :-)

Ham
Red Skin Mashed Potatoes
Stove Top Stuffing - Italian Style Roasted Garlic
Candied Yams
Corn
Lima Beans
Gravy
Croissants

Dessert willy probably be Easter Candy.

I am having something different :)

I am making my Vegetarian "Meatloaf" It is made out of soy protein instead of hamburger ;) It is very good.

Fresh green beans (steamed) and corn (because some people don't like green beans)
Mashed potatoes
Rolls
Mac n' cheese (for the kiddies or young at heart)
I also made a big batch of deviled eggs to munch on beforehand

We will have the choice of banana cream pie, cocnut cream pie or french silk for dessert

We're not having that much, mostly because it's just my mom, dad, brother, grandma, and me :)

A special kind of fruit salad with whipped cream
Biscuits
Corn or some other vegetable
Arroz con gandules - a Spanish rice

And either strawberry shortcake or coconut custard pie for dessert.

DD just had her tonsills and adenoids taken out yesterday, so we're keeping dinner soft and simple. We'd normally have ham and asparagus, but she really loves those and we wouldn't want her to feel left out.

I'm making homemade (but a little mushy) mac and cheese. I make the kind with a rou (sp?) and garlicy cheese sauce. We'll just have sherbet or ice cream for dessert (I bought a ton of it).

Appetizer:
Tomato and mozzarella salad
Home made tomato and basil tortilla chips with dip
Tomato and basil pesto dip(recipe from Tony's at MK)with Italian bread to dip

Main course:
Since my sister cancelled having Easter at her house 3 days ago, my mom and I had to do it. We are having it at my house and I will make the app. and dessert and we are cheating with the main course. It is being catered!LOL

Toss salad, Italian bread
Lasagna
Steak pizzaiola
Rigatoni with broccoli and grilled chicken in garlic and olive oil

Dessert:
Home made sugar cookies
Cake
Fruit
Store bought Italian cookies

We are keeping it very basic and simple. It is just my DH, myself and 2 kids, my mom, grandma, 2 sisters and my sisters 3 kids. The kids eat like birds and will be stuffed with chocolate!!LOL We just got back from Hershey Park and stocked up on chocolate!!

I am making:

Carrot ginger soup

Baked glazed ham
Mashed potatoes & cauliflower with caramelized onions
Roasted asparagus with sesame seeds

DMIL is bringing:

Italian Bread (stick bread from Barbero's in the Burg)
Italian Pastries

My Mom is bringing all the wine.

My dear Mom does her traditional stuffed ham and all our family usually does dinner there, also adding their side dishes. I'm contributing honey ham, potato salad, candied yams and pineapple upside down cake. Our house is smelling heavenly today!! :goodvibes
