What's for dinner tonight?

I'm in a food mood today!

We're having pork and beef sausages, new potatoes and garden peas.

Can I get thru lunch first? Haven't really thought about dinner yet.

If we go to the drive-in today, it'll be Long Johns Silver, popcorn, and movie food junk.

If we don't I'll probably do up some chicken and something.

I usually go out for dinner on Fridays, but I'm broke this week. So dinner will probably be tortellini tossed with spinach and tomatoes.

I pulled a few new crockpot recipes off the web. Yesterday was a really good beef stew and tonight I'm trying this rice, boneless chicken with cream of broccoli soup mixture cooked through.

I just love the crockpot. Come home and everything is done!!!

Anyone out there have a tried and true crockpot recipe they would like to share?

we have our 10 year reunion tonight. I would guess they'll serve us a very dry piece of chicken! lol! Probably nothing too exciting, but for $55 a person it should be!!!!

I need to think of something for lunch though!

Depends on if DH gets home tonight or not. If he does, we'll probably grill some burgers. If not, I'll probably just eat some soup. DD is off to the lake tonight, so I could be on my own.

My son is on an all star baseball team and we are always eating at the "Weiner Shack." Some weekends we play at a good ballfield and some leave a lot to be desired. They won't let you bring in outside food and coolers.

My BIL went fishing a couple of weeks ago and I have a bunch of wonderful "Frozen solid within hours of catching" striped bass filets. Apparently it's the last of them as they head for cooler waters until the fall. I'm going to marinate it in garlic and oil and then sprinkle some spices on and broil it. Yum. Probably with a salad since I'm pretty lazy.

I have no clue what I'll have for lunch though, probably finish up some leftover broiled chicken breast with more salad.

Curious....whats cheese crisps?

Tonight we're having pizza since I'm working and we most likely will not eat until around 9 if the weather is good....7 if it storms. Boys gotta have thier time on the water.

Probably beef and bean burritos. Easy and cheap. Served with Mexican rice.

We often go out, but now with little Harley at home, we hate to leave for long... we're housebreaking =)

Foil Pocket Dinners!!!

I take 4 large pieces of heavy duty aluminum foil, then in the center of each I put cut- up carrots, onion, celery, potatoes, summer squash, zucchini, green beans, corn, and boneless chicken breast meat. Dab on some butter, add seasonings and bake in the oven at 375 for about an hour and a half. They are delicious and so easy to make and not much clean-up!!

Taco's for us. We're in a hurry tonight since we're having someone come over to give us an estimate on landscaping. So I'm just making tacos. It's a quick fix & everyone loves them!

I also want to know what cheese crisps are.....they sound like something I would really love!!
