Hey guys. I've been to WDW before and I know the virtue of arriving early at the turnstiles. Well, next time around, I'm staying at the Cont and was wondering which is faster to get to MK... Walking on the walkway, or riding the monorail. I know the monorail arrives at mk last from entering at the cont, so would it be better to ride the resort monorail the whole time, or get off at the TTC and ride the express from there.

Walking is faster. The line for the monorail can get long because you not only have resort guests but also those attending the meals. This means you might have to wait for one or even two before you can board.

Thats what I thought. It seems like a 10 minute walk, so I was just wondering if it really is faster.

In June we walked up, got on and were there in minutes.

The way I would look at it is why would you add to all the walking you will already be doing? You will not save that much time, only of it was 30 min.??????

I don't mind walking that extra at all. Even if it saves me 30 minutes, that keeps me on schedule with the touring guide (unofficial guide to wdw, I HIGHLY recommend it) and keeps me from standing in too many lines. I'm fine with the extra walking, keeps me energized. But it drives me insane to be standing still in line for more than 10 minutes. Standing still kills my feet, but I don't feel a thing when walking.

Walking energizes me.

The walk is really short and nice :yay: Keep in mind there can often be long stops on the monorail which make the trip even longer

I actually said that before I decided to post something different. So I'm not the only one that walking energizes me... If i stay still too long i get tired quickly.

My legs actually start to hurt if I stand still for too long.
