I wanted to know what do you think is the best option like if I wanted to go to a certain area that is optional by riding the train - would riding the train as soon as the park opens and riding it to that spot be the good idea or would be walking to that spot be the better idea or does it not matter?

I think it does depend on where you want to go and how fast you can normally walk. The train takes about 30 minutes to make a full circle around the park. I think most folks can walk faster than the train because you often have to wait for the train to load, depart the station, travel to the next station, and then unload. The train is, however, the more relaxing option!

we often take the train from tomorrowland to New Orleans. Not for speed, but a chance to rest the feet and take a little break.

You would have to be a very slow walker not to beat the train. If you're trying to beat the crowds in the morning, fast walking is the only way.

It's also a great option and might be faster if you get on the train right before it leaves if the parade is going or fireworks. That's a traffic nightmare!
