Checked out the airfare from philadelphia to orlando for Nov trip today. $159 per person RT. This is $70 cheaper per ticket than I paid last year same time. What do you experts think: Book it now or wait? Thanks
I thought that too... We are going over Easter, and I know its more expesive but I paid $467 of DLExp...out of Newark!!!
It does not get much worse than that... Worse airline out of Newark you could pick...at an unbelieveable price.
So much for those "experts" ...you have been to Orlando before from your town...you know what is cheap...if you think its a good deal then it probably is.
(were both from jersey, so id say 159 is a good deal, thats about the cheapest ive seen in a while)
I just booked tix for my son & I to go in May & got $323 total for both of us. It's been going up down up down for several months - I'd book your trip now!!! Good luck & have fun!!!
Delta - $174 roundtrip from LGA to MCO per pserson. Family of 4 - less than $600 for us.
Straight flight - non-stop. No food -so we'll bring our own snacks.
I hope others find great rates and NO more terrorists in the air
We just got back last week, and paid $110.00 roundtrip per person, non stop from Baltimore to Orlando, on Airtran. We booked three weeks in advance. A guy my DH was sitting next to said he paid $295.00--but he booked only 4 days prior!
My DH surprised me with a trip to Disney on the weekend of my birthday in March and he paid $132.00 roundtrip Manchester to Orlando! (although with taxes and such, the actual cost is around $150.00 rt!
$185 R/T per person PHX to MCO in May on United. Not as good as last year's which was $163 R/T per person PHX to MCO on Delta, but I can't compain since we have to buy five tickets!
I booked the end of May flight at RT for two, from Omaha to MCO for $412 total. (1 stop)
It's with UNITED!
But I would like to think by the end of May all will be settled for them.
I booked 2 weeks ago through Orbitz, got 4 tickets for $ 99/each, non-stop from Laguardia to MCO, great times too, 7:15 am flight going down, 6:15 return! This is for the second week in March, which is high season!
I think I got the same deal as the last poster! That special that was running on/around Jan 28 for the Northeast part of the country.
I read about it here that American Airlines was having a big sale! I ran over and it was true! I double checked with Expedia and Orbitz and found that Orbitz was $30 cheaper than AA's site. So my GRAND total for my family of 4: $410.00!!! It includes all taxes and Orbitz's $10. service fee.
Can you tell I'm excited and I also enjoy telling my story?
I've never paid less than $195 so this is just wonderful!
Oh yeah, my flights are exactly what I wanted and they are non-stop!
We just booked $217 RT per person, Manchester to Orlando thru Pits. in late April on USAIR.
Bummer! It is NH school vacation week. I don't think we could have done much better booking this late! SWA for same dates, would have been DOUBLE at $420!!!!!!
Great rates, everyone! I think you should go ahead and book. You won't do too much better than that anyway!
I"m not getting any less than $204 from Toledo to MCO--Detroit has one 190 deal but the only return trip they offer leaves Orlando at 10:10AM--no way! I'd say $159 would be great--if I could find that now, I'd book it!
Robin M.
WE paid $171 each including taxes for May 18. I thought THAT was a great price for PHL to MCO. I booked way back in Sept 01 because I couldn't wait and thought I wouldn't get a better price for the times that I wanted. I checked and those times I wanted are no longer available.... so I'm happy!!!! You have a great time! Lin
We just flew RT on Champion Airlines out of Detroit to MCO Feb. 7-Feb 10. We booked at a rate of 141.
It was far cheaper than any other airline. Our travel agent booked the flight through MLT vacations.
Our flight was pleasant and security at the Barry International terminal at Detroit Metro was fast yet thorough. We took the last flight out of MCO,on Champion, at 8:45 pm.
