When it comes to wearing clothes and shoes... what's better- To look good or to feel good? Anyone remember that Billy Crystal song from the 80's? ;) ;) For instance, high heels look good on, but they certainly don't feel good on.

What's more important to you? Is it style or comfort?;)

Comfort first, style second for me. :p

comfort

as in New Balance and Birkis!!

I think it is an age thing, changes sometime for most people in their 20's I think. :)

Depends where I'm going. I just realized the other day that I haven't worn panty hose in at least a year. Odd isn't it.

It's comfort for me too. I do think that age has something to do with it.

When we were in Orlando this past weekend, I saw a lot of women (especially at Florida Mall-nice mall BTW) wearing strappy, uncomfortable-looking sandals and a few in high heels. I'm not criticizing their shoe choices, it's just that I would be extremely uncomfortable if I wore shoes like that, especially when doing a lot of walking.:earseek: :earseek:

I think Dan's right, the older you get the more important comfort is. I wear high heels a few times a year now since I can wear jeans to work and it is so uncomfortable. I don't know how I ever wore high heels and pantyhose every day.

Comfort is very high on my priority list! I bought a new pair of shoes for my DD's wedding last month and I searched for a comfortable yet stylish pair of shoes. Found them! They were an open toed strappy silver sandal with a not too high, wide heel. I was SO happy!! No more high heels for me!

I definitely like to be comfortable (I don't even own any panty hose or wear much make-up), but I also don't like to look like a slob. I know from experience that it is possible to wear jeans or capris most of the time and still not look like I am about to go work in the yard. Unless I really am about to go work in the yard :).

It's always been more about comfort to me. But just because you do get comfort, doesn't mean you have to give up on style. I go for "good feeling fabrics" and comfy yet stylish shoes. THen again I like heels since I am short and they don't seem to bother me very quickly so I guess sometimes stylish is comfort for me ;)
