My 19 year old daughter is joining us at WDW a few days into our vacation and we will not have a car. We are taking a limo to our hotel (POR) and was wondering how much it would cost for just one person to get from the airport to the hotel. She will be coming in at 10:30 PM on a Tuesday night. Is Mears the cheapest option? If so, is it safe for a young lady at night? Any other idea on how to get her to the hotel would be appreciated. Thanks!

Mears would be the cheapest as the town car's prices are per car and Mears is per person.
Generally there are plenty of people getting the Mears shuttle so I do not think that your daughter would have any safety issues.
Mears is not usually the fastest way to get to Disney but cost wise it would be your best bet.

Mears may be the cheapest option, but it could take hours for her to get to the hotel.

You're probably better off with a Town Car, most would go $45-$50 one way, which is pretty comparable to what a cab would cost and they'd meet her there and take her right to POR.

I can't agree with you, dznyntnh. Mears has never taken hours to get us to our resort, though its not generally the fastest method. We've never been more than about an hour getting from the Mears desk to our hotel. Often, the time is a bit less. I have occasionally heard the horror stories of people forced to drop off many others at distant hotels, etc, but I've also heard towncar horror stories, too, of individuals not picked up as planned.

Also, while I agree that towncars are more pleasant and a bit faster, I personally might prefer the "crowds" on the Mears van to the solitary conditions of a towncar. Sometimes, there's safety in numbers.

Of course, your daughter, stressedmom, will probably be just fine no matter what carrier she chooses. We've had basically good luck with all trans. to WDW.

Thanks everyone for your input - I am really leaning towards Mears and I appreciate the reassurance that she will be fine traveling on her own. You all are the best!!!
