....and what did you like about it? View? Location? Lay-out? Close to lobby or pool?

Let's have some fun and see what everyone has to say. Be as specific as possible.

Room 1095. First floor end unit overlooking quiet pool. Just stayed there 2/7-2/14, cruising next, then back to 1095 if possible!!

Any room close to the elevators.

I almost hate to advertise this but here goes.....

Room 4123.
Standard view 1br in the turret at the end of the building. Its far from the elevators but almost twice the size of a normal 1br. There are 2 balconies...one that wraps around the kitchen/living room area and one off the bedroom. Off the big balcony you have a view of Epcot to the left
(Japan) and can see Illuminations. From the bedroom balcony you have a great view of the TOT and we even saw fireworks at MGM one night in Jan. at about 10pm. The rest of the view isn't too bad either...the bridge, pond and fountain (and, ok, the valet parking lot and the gas station across the street...)

This room is great and even better is that its a standard view! Lots of bang for the points !

ROOM 2051

We had a great view of the courtyard, were close to the front desk and elevator. We also had a larger deck since we were next to the stairs. We could see EPCOT and Beach club. Very quiet.

It was on the corner about 10 rooms down from the main elevator.

I wish that I could remember the room number, but last year we stayed in a dedicated 1-bedroom (didn't even know that they had them). It was on the 3rd floor so we could use the stairways that were close by and avoid the elevators. The room overlooked the quiet pool and was a bit larger than a normal 1-bedroom. It was right in the corner of the building and had a huge balcony. It was a very short walk to the quiet pool using the staircase and had easy access to both the walkway for MGM and the Boardwalk. We've had a Boardwalk view before but we really preferred this room and view.

3124

No it's not near the elevators by a loooooonnnnng shot. But it's the biggest 1 BR I've ever been in. The reason for this I'm told is because it's on the corner of the building. So when you walk in, you do directly into the LR and on the left is the kitchen. In the LR alone you have 3 sets of French Doors along the back wall and the balcony is very long. Then the BR has it's own doors and balcony. Now the view; you overlook the canal that takes the boats to Epcot/MGM and at night you have almost the entire view of the fireworks from Epcot. If you go to the bedroom and look to the right; you can see fireworks from MGM!!

This is nice if you want "room". Would I stay there again; yep!

Ms. WDW...that sounds just like 4123! Great room..is there really more than one?

Is 3124 a standard view room or a preferred view room? My guess would be standard view.

3124 was a Standard View but at night it was spectacular!!

Lesley - I guess all the corner rooms are like that! 3124, 4123....etc. I loved that room; I would definately try for it again. I realize there's no guarantee that I'd get it; but I would sure try! :)

I would also love some 2 bdr recommendations. We have one reserved for October and this will be our first stay in a BWV 2 bdr, standard view.

We are leaving for the "world" Sunday, and I would love some opinions on a 2-bedroom standard view room. We will have 6 teenage girls with us celebrating DD's 14th birthday(and I hope I remember to bring the anti-giggle ear plugs!) I would LOVE a room like 4123, except in a 2-bedroom format of course. Thanks!

Mic...sounds like a fun trip (OH MY!...6 teenage girls...lookout all you boys at WDW!)

When I made my request I just asked for a room "near the tennis courts/away from the elevators" Perhaps that will work to get a corner 2br? I believe someone posted before about a larger studio in that area too...so maybe there is a 2br as well.

Lesley-
Thank you for the suggestion. Actually, that is the request I usually make, simply to get a better standard view than the parking lot! I am not a bit concerned with the extra hike for the girls...I am actually hoping it wears them out and they actually sleep at night;)
