What's allowed on the beach @ Vero? Cabanas?

Hi!
I was just wondering if there are any restrictions as to what is allowed on the beach at Vero. Can we bring a small Cabana for shade for the kids? We will be driving so we want to bring all our beach stuff only if we'll be able to use it! How about chairs and such? Is the sand OK for DD and DS to play with? They will be 7yrs. old and 2 yrs. old. and have never seen the ocean so we plan on spending alot of time on the beach!

Your best bet would be to call and ask.

From experience I can tell you we brought our own umbrella's. I can't imagine that they'd have any problems with you bringing your own stuff. I do know that they section off a portion of the beach for members that rent their equipment.
