What's a tag fairy?

I hate to even ask this because it was probably answered somewhere else and I've just missed it and also because it shows how utterly new I am at all this. However if you can answer the question I would appreciate it.

It is how the tags magically disappear from larger sized garments...(you know - the ones that you don't want ANYONE to know that you had to buy!)

Seriously - it is the little sayings that some people have under their name on the boards. The tag fairy puts them there. You and I aren't interesting enough to have anything, I guess...

I don't know either. We only moved here about a year ago from Southern California and I'm still just trying to figure out what I'm doing here!! Only kidding of course. I like it in MI. but could do without the snow.

Lake Ann is about 25 minutes away from Traverse City, which is where they hold the Cherry Festival. I guess it's considered northern lower MI. Does that help?

BTW, MinnyGranny62 and Kimmielee, have either of you driven to WDW from MI before? That's what we are doing for our next trip and I'm wondering if I'm crazy?

Yes, Virginia (mommaU4), there is a Tag Fairy!

If you are bestowed a tag, it is your prize!

Although some folks make up their own tags under their avatars, they're in black print.

Here is what I understand tag fairies to be: They are members of the board who read through posts looking for a quirky or original sentence or phrase that someone wrote. If they like it enough, they will put that phrase in color under your name (i.e. under ellindea, there would be a colored phrase, or "tag", where "Earning my Ears" was).

As you can see, I haven't been tagged yet....maybe one of these days...

I think the Tag Fairy appreciates burnt offerings and gratutious pandering never hurts!

If you're bored (why else would you be here?) check out the Tag Fairy thread on the Universal Board, a few of us have devoted several hundred pages groveling for tags.

Of course, I'm not exactly the poster child for tags.LOL
