What's a Great Deal Out There Right Now?

I have friends staying with us at AKV for 5 nights but due to a deal on air fair they extended their stay 1 night on either side of their trip. They need a room for 1 Saturday night September 27th and 1 Friday night on October 3rd. There are 2 adults and a 3 y/o and a 2 y/o.
They found a good deal on a room at the Royal Plaza BUT transporation to and from the airport if $90!!!! That's the price of one night's stay!
They wanted to be close to Downtown Disney. Any other ideas of nice places to stay where maybe airport transportation is included?

They could try Priceline for 2 one day car rentals. That might be their best bet. Otherwise the Mears shuttles will cost that much.

I often stay near MCO the first night on a 3* hotel bid, and then take ME in the am to WDW.

I think the options are either an airport hotel with a free shuttle, or a Disney hotel taking ME. Otherwise, the two one-day rentals would probably be the next best bet.

At the rate of the shuttle, what about staying at a Value Resort at Disney? Then they can use the ME back.
