I'm staying at the GF Feb 6-9 in a garden view, and was looking for building recommendations. What's a good, unobstructed, pretty garden view and in what building?

Second question: do ALL rooms at the GF have balconies? Are the dormer balconies big enough to hold two people standing?

Thanks! :D

The GF Garden Views are quite nice in all of the buildings. I'm a fan of Boca Chica and Big Pine Key. Big Pine key is also very close to the main building and main themed pool area and beach.

All of the rooms have balconies. The first floor rooms don't have patios but actual enclosed balcony railings for privacy. The dormer balconies are large enough for two people. These rooms have fully enclosed balconies. So, you'll have to stand to see the view.

There is a great GF Faq at the top of the resorts page:

Here are some pix I have of the resort:

Have a great trip! :)

If you get a garden view in Big Pine Key, make sure you have a pool view. Some of the Garden views in BPK are obstructed by other buildings. I had dormer room 9512 in Big Pine Key and the view was great. The dormer balconies are big enough for 2 to sit or stand.

I think I like Sago Cay, with the view of either the marina, the woods, or common area. I'm still confused about the dormer rooms...are the balconies set up like regular balconies, which have two chairs and a table. I really like sitting and reading on balconies, so I wondered if it was possible to sit down if I landed a dormer room.

Yes, they have two chairs and a little poolside-type table. However, when seated, you won't be able to see over the enclosed balcony wall.
