Prayers heading out to both moms and to you as well FOJMO.....

while my dad was never "cured" of his cancer, he WAS told firmly that he only had 6 weeks at best when first diagnosed.

You can't convince me that the prayers of many and his keeping a really good attitude and positive outlook didn't help him hang around for 8 YEARS instead of the 6 weeks.

Many prayers of hope and healing go out to you and your loved ones today!

Mom's first session went well. If you are in NE OH, and have cancer, Cleveland Clinic is the place to go! A couple of times, during mom's treatment I would leave her room and go to the lobby. There, in the lobby, there were 2 computers, with internet access. I believe they were donated by Scott Hamilton, who got his cancer treatment at Cleveland Clinic. Anyway, I was able to log onto the DIS from there and was able to read your replies to my post! Thanks for all your prayers and good wishes. We have been told mom will receive at least 4 rounds of chemo, possibly as many as 6. She has a mountain of pills to take home afterwards and in 28 days we go back up to Cleveland for round #2 of the chemo. Thank goodness we can have the weekly bloodwork done at her doctor's office, here in town. Thanks again, DISers! You're the best!
