Whatever Happened To The Places Posts?

Bernie, I use to love all those mini-vacations you would take me on every week. Ah, but to dream.

Unfortunately, even after buying space and bandwidth on Worldzone, I kept maxxing out the bandwidth, so the posts would end up being red x's for most of the day! That got to be a bit aggravating, so I gave it up.

I think the FPP is exactly the kind of post that Pete doesn't want happening around here....I'm sure they'd suck the life right outta the server!

But I'm really tickled that you remember them so nicely!

Thanks for your reponse. I can imagine the post did take up a lot of space, but I still miss them and looked forward to them each week. You always found such beautiful places I guess all good things have to come to an end sometimes.

I also enjoyed the vacation spots. Anyway we could just get one picture....just something to get us dreaming

or

You could take us on a vacation on day at a time. Pick a city, take us to one site in that city one day then another site in that city the next day. I am not sure how bandwidth works, but was thinking that maybe if things weren't opened all at once it may be better.

Perhaps you could just link us to somewhere? Find a place that has nice pictures of a place?

That'd be cool. I wouldn't mind seeing just one picture of a place and otherwise following a link to a different page that shows the place well.

Of course, that's a lot of work still.

I had actually started putting together links, but once again, bandwidth limits did me in!
