Whatever happened to Sheriff Mickey?

A couple of months ago I received a PM from Sheriff Mickey telling me that my signature was too big and it needed to be made smaller. I actually had to make it even smaller than I thought because of the window that Sheriff Mickey was using to view the sig. I was threatened with deletion of my sig if I did not comply.

Recently I noticed that while I have complied there are many many other DISsers who apparently have either not received this same notification from Sheriff Mickey or chose to ignore the PM they received. Yet their signatures are intact and are clearly in violation of the number of lines of text that we were supposed to have.

The thread outlining the rules for signatures also appears to be gone. Does this mean that I can resize my sig and move my name back there?

nope it does not... most of the signature stuff is handled by the tech team and they have a LOT to do... we tend to do it in "sweeps". The signature guidelines are still in effect and posted
here
