Dis u realize that after one day of greving some ppl on vmk have gone back to their normal ways, there are cute or boot and taken rooms. It seems like the closing announcement never happened which is good so we can have a normal last couple of weeks but it still hasnt hit me that vmks closing yet!

I noticed last night that people were returning to normal. How did I notice? I was trying to take photos in empty rooms around the kingdom, wearing the Stitch hat that was graciously loaned to me by a dear friend. At one point, someone came in and walked up to me, saying "guess what?" I asked, "what". He replied, "you stink!" Of course, I said "really! Thanks! :)" then proceeded to not speak to him anymore. He started shouting "did you no vmk is closing!" And when I said nothing, he said, "you are a mean girl".

Same old, same old.

It is annoying that people are playing in normal ways! In a couple of days everyone will be tired of protesting and just give up. Then they will play cute or boot (cute or boot is not a fair game. the owner picks whos out! :confused3 ) I expect a better effort everyday. I am not turning to my normal vmk ways unless VMK says they are not closing.

To me it only makes sense to continue acting as we always have, although perhaps a bit more sentimental. Doing the usual routine doesn't necessarily mean that we're pretending nothing's happening or ignoring the problem. It's just playing the game like we normally would and making the most of it.

Protesting or hearing "Save VMK" in every room you go to gets tiresome and it isn't how I'd like to remember my last couple of weeks of this game. I'd rather spend my remaining time and energy having as much fun as possible and making as many memories as I can to carry through once the game has ended.

I don't mind talking about it all the time. I would prefer the top guest rooms were "save VMK" rooms until the end. I think it would be lovely to remember the last 6 weeks of VMK as a place that brought thousands of people from different places, walks of life, together to fight for and work toward a common goal. That's just me though.

I think it is good things are mostly back to normal for now. We can't spend the rest of our time in the game depressed.

Yep I agree with you on there. I'm just trying to act like nothing is wrong, so I won't think about the closing on VMK. Having as much fun as possible on there is what I'm going to do.

I agree with not being depressed, I'm not depressed at all. I think fighting for what you want and being depressed are not mutually exclusive. Have fun with friends, but don't stop trying to accomplish your goals.
