I know that the MK is 14 feet off the ground and the lower level is for service workers and CMs. Another reason they elevated MK is so it could be seen from far away.

My friend & I had a heated debate over Pirates Of The Carribean the other day. I told her that the ride was renovated this year after many years of being open, she said that it couldn't have been open for years & years because the movies came out only three or so years ago. I told her that it was originally a book series and then she asked if Walt Disney wrote the books! [shakes head]

I went to the library searching for a book on POTC [The ride], and when I asked for a book about POTC, the librarian said "You don't want the movie with Johnny Depp, you want the atcual pirates, right?"
And I said "No, neither, I want it on the ride."
"What ride?"
"The ride the movies were based on. In Disney World."
**blank look on librarian's face**
Another librarian came up and said "Oh yeah, I think I heard about that somewhere. It's called the Black Pearl or something."

It's very sad.

Well, I've memorized the list of Disney CEO's over the years (Roy O. Disney, Donn Tatum, E. Card Walker, Ron Miller, Michael Eisner, Robert Iger) if that says anything. I'm kinda obsessed with the corperate inner-workings of Disney; I need to read DisneyWar I think. Did you know that the President (not CEO or Chairman) of Disney is former US Senate Majority Leader (Democrat), George Mitchell?

I've ridden in front twice. Once at night, and once during the morning. You're supposed to get Co-Pilot liscences.
