What you can do in a day at MK (on a Sat)

Since purchasing AP earlier this year I have been stalking this board for information. I know a lot of people ask about iteneraries so I will share what we did this past Saturday at MK. This day there were 4 adults (1 pregnant) 2 kids, 5 and 2. We brought a double stroller and were so glad we did.

Was ready to go in the park around 9-930 (my goal was closer to rope drop at 8 but that didn't happen)

-Haunted Mansion- walked on. Now my MIL insisted that the 5 year old would love this. She cried and hid her face the whole time :-/
-Pirates- walked on- Not the best choice after HM but trying to get it in before crowds
-Magic Carpets- walked on. Needed a happy ride
-Jungle(Jingle) Cruise- 15ish min wait
-BTM-1st FP+
-All this before 11am. Could have walked onto Splash due to weather but decided not to.
-Was hoping to get into BOG for lunch and might have made it if we had hit the park earlier. Headed to Cosmic Rays for lunch.
-Buzz Light Year- 2nd FP (with about a 10-15 min wait)
-Speedway- FP (the kids went on all the rides (except the 2 year old on BTM), but some of the FP were split between the adults to get the most out of FP)
-Monsters Laugh Floor (10 min wait)
-Found a spot in front of the castle around 230 for the FOF parade. Great timing as 2 year old passed out. 5 year old loved seeing all the princesses.
-Dumbo (with 4th FP for the tickets that had already used theirs)
-Railroad
-Dinner at Pinnochios (ugg...not my choice)
-Frozen Castle Show
-Small World- 10-15 min wait
- Anna and Elsa- FP (7-8pm) (FYI I got this about 3 or 4 days before we went, I had Cinderella and just kept checking and one popped up! Later time than I wanted but the 5 year olds heart was set on it)
-Carousel- 5 min wait (Once it was lit up, every time we passed it my 2 year old "I ride that"
-Cinderella and Rapunzel- 20 min wait (boys went and staked out spots for EP)
-EP- got spot right up front where the parade started so we were able to get right out!

I feel like we hit a lot of headlines and we never really waited for anything all day. I remember going as a kid and only hitting a few rides because we waited an hour for everything. And with the old FP I never got more than 2 in a day. This was a one and done trip for my Inlaws and Niece so it was planned around them (I might have done more FL for the kids but the 5 year old was thrilled with meeting the princesses and riding her first big rollercoaster (BTM) and the 2 year old was happy with the speedway and the railroad). So all in all a great day.
