I have an '01 Civic. Will be paid off in May!!! Woo Woo! What I would love to get is a brand new Volvo sedan but since I don't *need* it and that would be financially beyond stupid, I will drive the Civic until it gives out. It has been a LONG time since I didn't have a car payment.
Mine is a 2001 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am. Paid it off last year.
I'm driving it until I can afford a Corvette Z06. If that takes a few years, then so be it.
KAMommy's is a 2003 Subary Legacy wagon. I'm starting to hear rumblings from her general direction about maybe trading it up to a new Subaru Tribeca or a Lexus RX model SUV.
I drive a 2005 Chevy Uplander and DH drives a late 90 escort or contour. How bad is that, I can't even remember what it is. He just uses it for work that is about 2 miles from home.

Didn't want to give up an '86 Escort???? I had one of those! It was my first new car. What a piece of junk! Cracked the head on it TWICE! (ok, so the 2nd time it was my fault... but not the first time). A/C stopped working within a couple of months of being out of warranty... no A/C... in TEXAS!!! What a nightmare. Glad your friend had better luck than I.
DH drives a 2004 Infiniti G35. His work is 3 miles from our house but the road trip speeding tickets make up for that.
I just traded my 2003 Chevy Tahoe 3 weeks ago for a 2006 Nissan Armada! LOVE IT! The gas doesn't get me either because I don't drive very far. 2003 Tahoe had 20K miles on it when it was traded in which means we only put about 8000 a year so it's not hard on the gas budget.
2002 Saturn SL1. I have had a couple of Saturns before this one. My last one was a 1996 SL1. I gave that one to my mom in 2002 when I got a new one. Her's is still running well (knock on wood) and mine is doing great. When I'm ready for a new one, I'll give her this one.
