Argh! I keep changing my mind!

We are booking AKV on DVC points. My parents are going to aswell, so my decision will probably be what they opt for too.

Now, the trouble is we can't decide Savannah View (we'll request Arusha :lovestruc) or Club level.

Sadly with DVC rooms you can't have both. The DVC CL studios are either Sunset Savannah or Pool View.

We'll be on DDP so the lounge facilities don't bother me that much, but we'd really love to do the CL Sunrise Safari.........

What would you choose?

EDIT:

Forgot to add - my parents stay Club level everywhere they go. but they've never stayed in a Resort with a Savannah.

I know ym Dad will be dissappointed if he gets a pool view room when there are SV ones, but he'll also be dissappointed to not have Club Access.

You see my dilemma!!!!

(I am considering telling them just to book regular CL and pay the extra few hundred £s but have everything)

i think a big bit of it will depend on if you can get the club level DVC rooms. there are only 5 two bedroom lockoffs, and they tend to book up fast at the 11 month mark. if your home resort is AKV, you might have a good chance of getting it, if your home resort is somewhere else, you wont be able to book AKV til 7 months out, and by then chances are they'll all be booked. 3 are savannah view, 2 are pool view.
personally, i would try and get the DVC club level, as you just cant turn down the amount of points it costs! if not, if you can afford it, book the normal club level. its a great extravagence, but way worth it!

If you can't get concierge through dvc, would you parents be comfortable with their rooms not being cleaned daily in a dvc room? Might be better to book them into a room through the lodge if this is the case?

We had a similar dilema last year Savannah or Club as there is no guarantee of getteing a savannah view on concierge (WDW told me 50% of club are not Savannah). Our rationale was that one of the main reasons for staying at AKL was the view so we booked Kidani. One advantage of concierge is that you can do the animal tour.

I would book a regular club room with Savannah view - if they are used to club I think the shock of not having daily house keeping in a DVC room might be an issue too.

You don't want to be worrying about them on your wedding/honeymoon!
