What would you suggest for our first day...

We will be at Disneyland/DCA from June 19th to June 22nd. Our first full day is not blocked for AP holders. We definately plan to stay away from DCA that day due to the opening of Carsland. What would you suggest we try to get done that day? We will have no problem getting there early. We are staying at Fairfield Anaheim. The things we don't want to do at Disneyland are: Space Mountain, the Nemo subs, astro orbitor, tea cups, Captain EO. I think that's it. I know it'll be a busy day, so getting as much done early as possible will be important. Will that be a magic morning day? Should we do Minnie's on our first morning (late seating)? Would that be a bad night for the Fantasmic dessert package or fireworks?

The 19th and 21st are MM days, and I would definitely get your fill of FL as soon as the gates open on those days. If I were going then, I would spend the whole morning of the 20th in CL at DCA. On the first day, I would do magic morning, ride all your non-FP favorites, and collect FP's to use at night. Avoid the heat of the afternoon at the hotel, dining, or at indoor, sit-down attractions.

On the 22nd, you should celebrate my birthday and send me presents.
