Okay, I have a question.

There are 4 of us who are going to be in WDW Jan. 22-Jan 28. What are some good character dinners you'd recommend?

We know that we are going to do:
Chef Mickey's
1900 Park Fare

and we are still deciding about Crystal Palace.

Any other good character dinners?

Anything I should definitly avoid?

I've never done character dinners, but after reading the boards, I've heard that a lot of people like Liberty Tree Tavern.( I would like to try it.)
And in 2006 CRT will be having character dinners also.
I don't really have a reccomendation, so i'll just bump you up, and maybe someone else might be able to help you.

Thanks!!! Liberty Tree Tavern.hmm... that sounds like it may be fun.

Anybody else have any other suggestions?

Dh and I have done Character Breakfast at the Crystle Palace twice and love it. We have also been to the Character Dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern and loved it too. We plan on doing them both again on our next trip.

thanks!

We are going to do Chef Mickeys for dinner, 1900 Pf for dinner, CP for dinner, and LTT for dinner.

Has anyone heard good things about 1900 Park Fare dinner?

If visiting EPCOT, do the Garden Grille. Excellent interaction, good food. Fun for all :goodvibes

I think that the Contemporary does a great character breakfast and of course, Crystal Palace for breakfast, lunch or dinner is always great. We have also done the one in Animal Kingdom (breakfast), and that was really good also. I dont think any of them are bad.....Have fun!

Definitely LTT. Don't miss that one. And we like Garden Grill at Epcot, but they've changed their menu slightly since the remodel and I'm not as crazy about the new food. It's basicly the same, but it's got a little more of that "California flare" to it. And for a down home Alabama girl...well, I could do without the alfalfa sprouts on everything, ya know?!

We have enjoyed LTT and CP for dinner too. Really great food and characters. I've heard lots of great things about 1900 Park Fare, and am trying it on my next trip, but don't know from personal experience yet.

Get off the Crystal Palace fence and go, go, GO! And if you can squeeze it in, go for breakfast -- you can schedule a breakfast for up to an hour before the park opens on non-early-entry days. Or go for dinner.

Liberty Tree Tavern is real nice, too. Thanksgiving-type food. They serve lunch as well as dinner.

Even if you go to Chef Mickey's and decide that character meals aren't your thing -- go to the Crystal Palace. They do a much better job over there.

Have a great trip!

:flower:

Thanks! We are now definitly doing Chef Mickey's, 1900 PF, Crystal Palace, and LTT all for dinner. Sounds good?

Thanks!!!!!!! Now, we have a character meal booked for each night. are we totally crazy?

Another question. I know this isn't a character meal, but has anyone heard anything good/bad about Hollywood & Vine in MGM?
