What would you plan for a 6,9 and 15year old?

We had a Disney vacation in 2007 the summer before my daughter started grade one.

We are heading there again next month, again my middle child is about to enter grade one.

I've started thinking I have one more little guy, who will start grade one in three years. Why not start planning one last Disney trip.

We've always said we'd take another trip to Florida when the kids were older, but stay offsite and do more non Disney outings. That was when I was planning another 6 or 7 year gap between trips. Now that I know we can do it in three, the kids are still younger and can enjoy the magic.

So with the ages, would another all Disney stay be worth it, or should I still look into branching out and exploring outside the resorts? The last trip and this trip were both onsite with the DDP.

I know it seems odd to be planning a new trip before the last has even happened. A big reason is that my parents were supposed to join us on this trip. My mother ended up getting really sick in May and the Dr's have told her no travel. Since my parents have always been big travellers I didn't realize how much this meant to her until recently. Now I want to plan another trip where hopefully she can come along.

Depends in what ur kids like.. Mine was almost 8 when we went last and he'll be almost 10 when we go back. He's a huge harry potter fan so we spent 2 day trips to universal. Because he's such a fan were looking at a strictly universal trip in 2016 (after a disney trip dec 2015). That's always a good pick for the older one, especially if they like rollercoasters. I haven't been on them cause my kid can't stand them at his age unfortunately, but universal has so,e amazing looking ones. And we did do the harry potter one after I lied about how tame it was... Well it was for me, not him! We're looking at those pirate adventures at the different resorts disney does for kids, it on,y goes to 12 but ur kids might enjoy them,the younger ones.

My kids are 17,12, and 6, and all of them still vote Disney every year. My 17 yo is planning a beach trip with her friends for spring break when they turn 18, so with the family she still wants Disney. It's the only place we can go that everyone can ride together, and have fun together. But with older ones a couple days at universal added in makes it even better
