I'm just starting a thread to see what kind of things you would like to see on YOUR UK Community Forum. Is there something you'd like to see more or less of ? Or have you any ideas of something new you'd like to see ?

I would love to see a few more creative things like a Photo of the Day thread and a Photo Scavenger Hunt. I would love to see the monthly photo competition and the book club revived.

The photo of the cake really inspired me so how about a craft thread where people can share what they make? I would love to see a recipe thread.

On another forum that I am active on, we have a Forum Finders thread? If you are looking for something specific, you post on that thread what you are looking for and people respond where you can find it.

I noticed that we recently have quite a few people from outside the UK posting here. So how about a "Sell Us Your Home Town" thread. This would be a thread telling people why your home town is worth a visit.

I even quite like to see a few more chatty threads like "What is your favourite Disney treat?"; "What Souvenir Do you Always Get on Every Holiday?"; What Do You Always Bring Back From The USA?".

How about a disney pet page? I love my animals and I know a lot do so might be a nice idea to share our pet stories.

I loved it when the boards were busier. I don't use Facebook so I think I'm missing out on the general chit chat we used to have.

I enjoyed the book club.

I love the idea of photo of the day (Disney or not?) maybe photos of non-WDW holidays too as we don't all manage an annual trip to WDW. The BBC website have themed photo page that don't have to be from anywhere in particular as long as they loosely fit the theme so maybe we could have a new theme each week so that we don't end up with a flurry of posting the first day and then nothing.

A crafting thread would go down well with me.

I read the boards every day but it can be weeks before I actually log in or contribute. (Except during Strictly season of course )

I love all the ideas above. I miss how chatty these boards used to be and wish it was back like the old days when they were busy, busy, busy.

I like Libby's idea of non-WDW holiday photos and a weekly theme. Also crabbie1's of a pet thread - I'm active on a couple of sheltie forums but it would be nice to see/read about other pets for a change!

I really enjoyed the book club, maybe we could also have a book suggestions thread where people can write a short review of a book they've enjoyed.

Ooh, what a about cooking/baking type thread? Not sure if that's been suggested or if people would be interested but you could share pics, recipes, get inspiration etc.

I'd like to see more chatty threads, maybe a daily one for people to say what they've been up to, what the weather's like, what they're having for dinner that kind of thing. A bit like the small talk you'd make with a neighbour!

I'd also love a crafty thread with photo's of things people have made.
