Standing in line for Splash Mountain there was a family in front of us with a DS around 5 who clearly had to go the the bathroom. After a short while the adults surrounded the child, a few seconds later the mom(?) placed a slightly filled soda bottle (not containing soda) down on the ground and left it there. What would you have done? We were too stunned to say anything.

Personally, I would have made eye contact with the mom and commented on how disgusting it was to leave a bottle of her kid's urine in the queue. But I'm not afraid of conflict, lol.

I would have confronted her during the act, and all the way through the line, and when we got up to the ride, I would have told the CM, what happened and how gross that is. If an adult did that, they could have been arrested. She should have taken the kid to the bathroom before the got on the ride, or had one of the many adults with them take him. How gross!!

Oh I definitely would have said something to that mom and if I did not say it fast enough my husband would have told her that if she did not take care of it he would let a CM know she left a disgusting bottle in line, on the ground. Some people are just plain revolting.

How disgusting:confused: And what was she teaching her child. There are times that I just have to keep my eyes to myself because people do the strangest things...

OMG YUCK!!! ok now i have 5 kids and never, ever have one of my kids peed in a bottle anywhere.i would miss the ride step out of line whatever but omg how gross and horrible for that little girls too!! I think my first reaction would of been "excuse me, you forgot this " and hand them the bottle of pee. Then maybe start going OMG you let your child pee in a bottle right here in line ,.. then again i am a big mouth and dont give a rats butt ( sorry Mickey ) what people would think. I am sure if you were like me and made a scene about it others would of chimed in also. i sure would of called a Cm and possible 911 on Neglect charges because that for sure is neglect even in DW. How sad for the small child to have parents that stupid as to not let her pee in the bathroom. I hope she dosent have this memory and hope her parents get caught at another time doing such foolishness. people like that dont need to have kids at all. why didnt one of them take the child to the restroom, then come back while someone saved there place in line. others would of understood. or get her a pull up for god sake.. ok this is irritating to me i am going to leave this as it is before i blow a gasket. People are just mindless and sick !! Grosses me out and to think on another post i was reading about others using clorox wipes to sanitize things and this nut case has her kid pee in a bottle..:*(

June 07 my 8 year old son and I were at the MK turnstiles. He had gone through first and just as I was preparing to go through I noticed some commotion behind me. A little girl about 4 years old, in her father's arms was squirming and stating that she had to go to the bathroom. Her father said, "Can't you wait?!" and just then he pulled her out away from him (TOWARDS ME) and she began to use the potty right there over me!!! Thank goodness it only went on my legs and all over my CROCS. I went quickly through the turnstiles, grabbed our passes and my son and we headed to the nearest bathroom, unfortunately the parade was coming so I could not get directly into the Main Street bathrooms, had to beg every CM I saw, very quickly if I could get straight to the bathroom, because of what had just happened. Another good reason to purchase Crocs.. they wash well in a pinch!!!! My son could not believe the nerve of that father, he was very angry at him. My DS just kept wondering why the father didn't even apologize. I guess some parents forget about things like manners and taking care of the children's basic needs for fear of missing one second in a park or losing their place in line. Anyway, like you, we now have a crazy Disney World story to tell. We are able to laugh about it now.

wow im really surprised someone would have the nerve to do that. I had to read your post twice to understand what you meant and finally realized. I wouldnt have said anything during the kid peeing but would have said something afterwards possibly.

I'd have started shouting for a CM to clear up a biohazard. I'd also have made sure everyone in the area knew where it came from.

"Excuse me! Those people left a bottle of urine sitting here! Can you find a janitor to clean it up?"

I like your style, Devilduckie!:thumbsup2

I would have politely but firmly told the family to dispose of it. OP , did you see this happen ?? Did anyone say anything??

Right on! I was reading another post with regards to Clorox wipes/spray...one person had issues with them being used by some of us in WDW. This is a prime example of why some of us have "issues" with germs. I can't believe that someone would actually do that. Shocked to say the least! Poor kid...being raised by animals and all!:sad2:

Its bad enough that they let the child do that, but then to not throw it away and leave it there is absolutely disgusting how can some of these people do this without even thinking twice about it :sad2: some people

:rotfl2: Thats too funny

My dd peed on some kid's head at Sesame Place when she was 3. She was totally potty trained, but I think she though no one would notice if she just peed since she had on a wet swimsuit. Too bad she didn't realize that there was a boy directly below her (she was on some type of climbing thing). I had no idea she had to go and when I saw the parents go ballistic screaming at an employee about sueing that kid's parents, I just scooped her up and got out of there.

It's a boy who peed in the bottle. Not a girl. :)

I don't know, I am actually not that bothered by having him pee in the bottle. After all, if the kid had to pee THAT bad, what's the likelihood he could have made it all the way out of the line and to a bathroom? So is it better to be surrounded and pee in a bottle, or pee all over himself and the parent carrying him quickly to the bathroom? I'm siding with the bottle-use over him peeing everywhere and on himself and a parent.

I AM bothered by them not taking it.

Then again, urine is sterile, so I don't personally really consider it to be a biohazard, not from a 5 year old. Not really.

But I'm one who objects to sanitizing parks, especially with chemicals that are in santizer products and clorox etc wipe things. I prefer biological stuff to chemicals anyday; the body has an immune system that can fight against biological problems, but can't do much against chemicals!

They should have taken it with them, though.

I don't think that it was the classiest thing to do, however I would not have made a scene, because I would not have wanted to humiliate the poor kid (who probably was just doing what they were told to do). I do have a MAJOR issue with them just leaving it for someone else to take care of. I would tell a CM, since I would hope they had gloves (or such) for these instances.
