What would you do?

I'm planning a trip for the last week of June, 2006. We have to stay at the GCH or my husband won't go!!!! I am planning to book Fantasmic buffet and the anniversary tour.

Should I:

Book 5 nights (Sunday -Thursday) 6 day pass, standard room or:

Book 4 nights (Monday-Thursday) 5 day pass, theme park view?

I guess it depends how much time you spend in your room looking out.... Not sure if that makes sense, but we stayed at the GCH in a standard view room.. we were almost directly above the main entrance and so we could see the cars pulling up and the DL hotel across the way.. which is quite beautiful at night.

We only sat out on our balcony while eating breakfast for the most part, so having a theme park view for us would not have been worthwhile. We were able to walk down the hall and look out a window to see some of the fireworks, we could also hear most of the music with our sliding door open...

Personally I would go for the extra night in the standard room...

That goes for me too! I would rather have the extra day and night at Disneyland!!

We were just there last month and while the theme park view was wonderful, I would have gladly traded it for an extra night!!! The parks are open nice and late in June so you really need to think about just how much time you'll spend in the room.
When in June are you going? I'm planning a trip with my DH for June 26-30!! (DD will be in summer camp !!!!!!!)

We are going either 25th through 30th or 26th through 30th. (I think those are the dates--either the Sunday or Monday, leaving on the Friday.)

Yeah, I'd go with the standard room and extra day. You'll always want an extra day of Disney!

There is always a chance of an upgrade on your room. However, there is almost no chance that Disney will give you an extra night.
