I had a strange experience in VMK yesterday and just wanted to know if I did the right thing.
I was wandering VMK and came out into the Castle Forecourt. There was just one other person there, a girl. She said, "Can someone help me?" Since I was the only other person there I said, "Sure."
She sat down on the bench next to me and asked if I was "merry." Well, I knew what that meant so said I wasn't.
She said, "I am but maybe you can help me anyway" "my boy lied to me"
I said, "that's not good"
She said, "no and sometimes he makes me feel weird"
I told her to stay away from anyone who makes her feel "weird."
She said he was nice sometimes.
So I told her (given the constraints of the dictionary) that VMK was a game and it was supposed to be fun. If anyone was making it not fun for her she should stay away from them or report them.
She said, "Thank you that's what I thought; but I guess I needed to hear someone say it. You are nice"
Then she was gone before I had a chance to tell her to talk to her mother or something.
Has anyone else had an experience like that? It sounds like someone needs to set up a room for counciling emotionally battered little girls. Or is this just something that kids go through every day?
