My wife is a nurse and we can get into the Swan/Dolphin hotel for $99 at the end of September or keep our plans and stay somewhere like POFQ sometime in early December for the regular price.


Originally we wanted to get away from the Minnesota winter and that's why we thought of early December, but this deal might be too good to pass up.

Also, what should we expect from crowds/weather in late Sept early Oct (I know it's hurricane season but should I be really concerned)

If you have always wanted to stay at the dolphin or swan then go and have a fab time. Otherwise I would take my winter escape
Late september/Early Oct is a quiet time - but so is early December.

or Get an AP down there and go to BOTH!

The free dining got me hooked into the sept/oct time frame. that and the thought of my daughter being alone on her birthday while working in the college program sealed the deal.

I am leaving her home this week.

That is a fantastic price for the Swan/Dolphin! We are at the Swan right now at the teacher's rate which is great, too. It is so beautiful and you have so many options here. The location is perfect. If we could do it then, we would! Have fun whatever you decide!
