Hello all,
Would you spend 4 nights first at the BWV when you arrive before Thanksgiving and then go to AKV jambo for the next 4 that includes Thansgiving or viceversa?
We are arriving on a Sat.
I don't know yet if I'm cooking or not for the Holiday
Thanks for your opinion as always!

I would decide what Thanksgiving dinner would be...me cooking or an ADR somewhere. If we were making an ADR, and that's likely what we'd be doing, then I'd book the 2nd half at the resort that's easier to get to that ADR....probably BWV as we might book Liberty Tree Tavern and could monorail over to MK from Epcot. Plus Thanksgiving and then the Friday after are pretty busy at WDW, so being at BWV and being able to walk to Epcot and HS would be better than dealing with the buses from AKV.

You got some great points to concider, especially not having to take buses to two of the parks.
This is going to be our first trip to see the Christmas decorations.
Thanks:)

Decorations are nice. BWV and BCV have nice ones as do all the monorail resorts. I think AKV has some nice ones too, but we never made it there when we went for Xmas. They sometimes have free lemonade and cookies too.

Looking forward to see some of the answers you get. I am trying to decide something similar but I also want to split it between a studio for part of the time and 1 BR the rest. Points are high during Thanksgiving so trying to maximize them.

I assume no DP, that you have a full kitchen both locations, that you do not have concierge at AKV and that the change day is not Thanksgiving (it appears to be Wed). I'd decide what I'm doing for Thanksgiving and chose the order that fits best for that and/or any ADR's. I would match my parks to my location to a degree. Otherwise it really doesn't matter too much. If my assumptions are off, that could dramatically affect my thoughts.

I know what you mean!
We were going to get all one bedroom for both locations but I may just try to get a studio at the BWV since I'm may not be cooking and we are hardly in our room since we love Epcot and HS.

We are getting the DP for some days only, but will eat out for Thanskgiving for sure!
I had booked our entire stay for concierge ( the wrong dates! ) :(
and now I could not even get the value rooms at Jambo but got the standard for the whole stay until I can book at the BWV
thanks for your opinion!

I forgot that I ws able to get the last concierge, first time, just to see if we like it
