My plans are drafted, just need to take them to the travel agent. But wait! It may be back to the drawing board. I'm not a superstitious person, but with all the warnings about September 11.

What do I go and do. My plans are to leave on a Thursday, so I'll be in Venice on my Anniversary, this has we flying on September 11, 2003. Not just the 11th, but flying out of Logan Airport.

Oh my, do I go with the original plan? Do I start over with a new draft? I'm undecided how I feel about flying on this date.

What would you do, would you fly on September 11 or would you change your plans?

September 11th of next year?

I think security on September 11th this year will be at a high peak. So I'm thinking, and hoping this year will be ok.

I would fly...I am a stubborn wench and if I had plans yo fly then I wouldn't change them. I would go and have fun...Venice on your anniversary sounds so romantic...I wouldn't pass that up!!!

Hugs and good luck with your decision!!!

I'm a little superstitious, I think I would change the date, even if it was going a day latter. But I am sure I am in the minority here. It is best to do what your conscience tells you to do.

Looking forward to a Venice mini DIS meet!! :)

Normally I'd say that I wouldn't be spooked by such a thing, but this is still too fresh in my memory and I'd probably choose not to fly on that day.

Having said that, and rereading it....it looks silly, superstitious and ridiculous.

Truthfully, though, I plan to spend part of the day in reflection about the past....quietly. I suspect I could do it anywhere....

Good luck with whatever choice you make.
