100,000-pay off my childrens student loans for them so they dont start life burdened with debt-and save the rest.

1. $10- I would be excited to have extra "coke" money for the week
2. $100- I would make sure the kids are well-stocked with school uniforms for the year.
3. $1000- This would secure Christmas and the end-of-the-year family birthdays
4. $10,000- Most of this would go in a CD or money market, some would go to new clothing for the kids, hubby and me, see #3 for the rest
5. $100,000- pay off student loans and hubby's car, if any left, see #3

I'd save any of them but the $100,000. With that, I'd add a new room onto my house. It's something we don't need to do but we've talked about it for years. There's always something we think is more important (college fund, retirement, etc.) so we have just never gotten around to it, but if that money just fell into our laps we'd start building. Our master bedroom is very large but the closet and master bath are too small. I want to build a new master suite over our garage and use our existing guest room to make it even larger. We'd convert our current master bedroom into the new guest suite.

What would you do if you had and extra....

1. $10...Use it when I go to Chipolte tomorrow
2. $100...Put it in a piggy bank for my 1st child that will be born anyday
3. $1000...Use it for fun for next vacation
4. $10,000...Get the house painted and landscaping redone in front and back
5. $100,000...Invest it wisely (If i only knew the investments that give me the most return)
