Hi everyone,
We are going to WDW in August. Right now we have reservations at GF...got a 30% off code.
We've stayed there before, in 2002, so we're really looking forward to it. We've also been to CR, WL, OKW and SS. Anyway, I always check ebay and the dis boards for DVC rentals. Now, I'm debating whether or not to get a 2 bdr at a dvc, or stay with the GF....
Even with the 30% off at GF, the 2 bdr at OKW and SS are cheaper.(even at $10/pt) ......I love the GF, esp. the monorail and pool area. I booked it because of the code,(TOO expensive otherwise) but now I'm wondering if we should change it...decisions, decisions.....

That's where my indecisiveness lies...Also, we've done the OKW and SS, usually a 1bdr. I like the extra space and the washer/dryer. I want the comforts of the 2bdr with the location/amenities of the GF.....a girl can dream, can't she???
If VWL was available during my stay, then I would definitely go there (we've never stayed there, and it's 'on the lake') but, alas, it is not. Oh well, hopefully I will decide soon,... I'm driving my DH crazy
but I would opt for it. The extra space is amazing and I think you will be grateful you chose it for that reason alone. If being close to the monorail is your chief wish, though, stay at the GF. I do not find transport at OKW to be a major issue, but being on the monorail line is a big asset for many folks.
