What would you do?

Okay, here's the situation...
We are going to MGM after DS2's nap, which will prob be around 5pm. Right now I have planned to hit a couple of attractions, then wait for Fantasmic at 7pm. Then we have an ADR at Flying Fish Cafe at 8pm. I am a little concerned about only having 30 min to get out of MGM after Fantasmic & get to the Boardwalk. I don't want to push dinner any later b/c of DS2.
The other option I am considering is just doing counter service at MGM b4 Fantasmic & canceling Flying Fish Cafe. Then after Fantasmic, we can go somewhere for dessert. Not sure where yet though.
What would you do?

BTW, I wanted to add that we will be going back to MGM the next morning to cover the rest of the attractions. Our plan is to have lunch at Pizza Planet b/c DS2 is a major Buzz fan.

We were recently there with our 18 Month old son. He was good about napping in his stroller, but was worn out earlier than normal every night. One evening after dinner at Epcot we went to see Fantasmic - he fell asleep on the boat over and slept through the whole show (and we were in the front of the theater also). After we wanted to head back to see Illuminations. It took us at least 20-30 minutes to get out of the park after the show. Looking at the line for the boat after the show it was going to take at least 2 boat fulls to get to us so we started walking. I would say its a 20 minute walk (+-) to the Boardwalk from the front.

So honestly I don't think you could make it even under ideal conditions. Could you do FF beforehand maybe?

That's what I was afraid of. Well, then the question is do we do counter service OR do a TS in MGM, like Mama Melrose or Sci Fi?
