We have three reservations:

Rosen Centre- International Dr. for $45.00 a night

ASMovies- 99.00 a night


Dixie Landing 119.00 a night

Now I must decide. We did WDW year befoer last and loved it! We stayed at ASMo and WL for 9 days! This time we are planning on going to Universal and Sea World...but I am afraid it will never compare with WDW! Will I be missing out just doing Universal and IOA and Sea World... I have to decide soon! Love to hear your point of view!

IOA rivals anything Disney has to offer. Sure it might not have the "Disney Magic" that the MK has, but for fun factor, theming, and attractions Islands of Adventure could easily be the best park in Orlando. USF, in my opinion, is OK. They have some great rides and shows (Men in Black, Gory MakeUp Show, Back to the Future) and some really dated ones (King Kong, Jaws, etc.). I'd say overall USF and MGM studios are about the same quality. Sea World is a nice park too. The crowds aren't a big factor like at other parks because it's mostly excellent shows and exhibits. Kraken and JTA are great rides too from what I hear. So to answer your question, yes you should have a great vacation. There is so much to do in the "Other Orlando" that you miss when you stay on site Disney.

I feel much better about our trip. I have read that the Rosen Centre is okay and for $45.00 a night, the cost will be 400 to 500 less if we do stay there and go to USF and IOA... thanks again!

Rosen center is a very nice, convention style hotel that is located between Universal and Sea World on International Drive. Remember too that if you will be doing SeaWorld, USF, and IOA - the Orlando Flex Ticket may be a good ticket option.
