These are my transportation needs.... would you go with a town car or renting a car?

Thursday fly in ---- to hotel (WDW resort)
Friday -------------To Sea World
Friday---------------Sea world to hotel
Saturday-------------To DCL port
Saturday-------------Back to resort
Sunday----------------To airport

I'm a big fan of renting, especially if you are going offsite. It gives you so much freedom.

Then you'll be at your own schedule. You can drive and eat out when you are near Sea World. There's lots of great restaurants around there.

Even with the parking rate at DCL, it still can be worth it.

We've done 2 cruises with a rental car. It's nice cause you can get to the port nice and early and be one of the first on board.

We did just Disney transport on our first trip which included a DCL cruise and although it was fine, once we started renting, there was no turning back. We like the freedom and being on our own schedule.

It's also fun picking the car out, which you can do with National and Alamo!!

Good luck deciding.

Rent a car at the airport.
Drive to hotel.
Drive to Sea World.
Drive back to hotel.
Drive to port.
Return car (obviously, make sure you rent a car from an agency with a location near Port Canaveral that provides a shuttle to the pier).
Drop off other passengers and all luggage at ship.
Return car.
Meet up with the rest of your party.
Go on cruise.
Debark.
Rent car from Port Canaveral location.
Drive to airport.
Return car.
Fly home.
